<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Thursday evening about 6 the weather started to</span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">clear up and it looked decent to do the Owl thing.</span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">It was a little breezy at first but soon calmed down and</span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">the evening was lovely with lots of bright stars. </span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">After a couple of blank stops an Owl came to the</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">call. Landed in a tree close by and sat there. After a little</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">it started flying back and forth - 4 to 5 times just over my head.</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">It would land for a minute, once gave a hoot and fly off.</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">The next stop an Owl flew out of the woods, low over my head,</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">and landed in a tree 5 m from the car. Never said a word, I put a light</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">on it to be sure it was a Barred and it was! </span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">The next stop a talkative one came. Landed maybe 100 m away and started</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">hooting. I never saw it but it kept hooting until I drove away.</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">No more after that. Three owls and three very different reactions to the call.</span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">But I enjoyed them all!</span>
</div>
