Early this morning Stella noted a White-crowned Sparrow on our deck. Likely=
the same bird that offered a fleeting glimpse yesterday. Managed to get a =
few pics.
Later a Northern Oriole was feeding on the hummingbird feeder. At first it =
tried hovering but this was hard work so it perched on the top and fed from=
there .. much easier. The window screen prevented good shots but exciting =
anyway!
At the same time a Y/R Warbler started to feed on spruce tree buds. It has =
been here a few times but always fed on the suet cakes.
