Very late for a rail chick but it should have time to reach migrating size. I=
 wonder if early nests got flooded out? I also think Sora as there has not b=
een any Virginia Rails seen or heard at Miners Marsh this season (based on e=
Bird maps) despite the many observers. A good idea not to advertise its wher=
eabouts and hold-off on eBirding it until fall.=20
