Dear All,
On March 23, when all else failed, I cut a Red Maple in which an
Ash had hung. In token I brought a small branch home, cut several inches
off the butt end under water, and put it in a vase. Last evening about
half of the buds showed anther tips. This morning Mar. 28, about half of
the buds have extended anthers.
Expect to go there this afternoon for some fresh air. Provided the
snow does not start burning.
