As part of the collective big sit, we've been paying close attention to
the yard and shore. Yesterday, a Broad-winged Hawk flew through the
yard while I was outside hauling brush, and today my wife asked me what
kind of gull was at the shore. It turned out to be a Caspian Tern. Two
new "yard" birds.
