A Gray Catbird made a brief visit to my garden in central Halifax early this afternoon. It was skulking in the honeysuckle bush, where my feeders hang. There were half a dozen American Goldfinches and a Song Sparrow there, and I suspect the catbird came by to see what was attracting them.

Later this afternoon, there were four Least Flycatchers, and one Ovenbird, singing in the picnic area near the front of Smiley's Park on the Meander River in Hants County.

I had two gray catbirds show up in the yard at LaHave today. In Pinehurst I heard a Blackburnian warbler. I also saw a chipping sparrow there. In Upper Northfield there were numbers of ovenbirds and a yellow warbler. I also saw my first least flycatcher for the year.
