Symbols of Clan MacIntyre

Clan MacIntyre emerges from the mists of early time as an offshoot from Clan MacDonald.

A branch of Clan MacIntyre was a sept of Clan Campbell of Craignish.

There were MacIntyres in Badenoch who formed a sept of Clan Chattan. They descend from a bard of Clan MacIntyre who was admitted in 1496 by William, thirteenth Chief of Clan MacKintosh.
