Disinfectant 3.6

Disinfectant is a FreeWare anti-virus software. It is commonly used and quite effective (remember that nothing is perfect). Version 3.6 was updated on 95/04/07 as a new release. Version 3.6 recognizes a new clone of the nVIR B virus which appears to have been explicitly created to bypass the checks in both the Disinfectant 3.5 application and in the Disinfectant 3.5 protection INIT. The clone is functionally identical to the original nVIR B virus and the other nVIR B clones. Disinfectant is a must have for any mac users who does not have a commercial anti-virus program installed.

QWK

A simple QWK mail off line reader. It includes a separate program for producing REP reply files and you must use a separate unzipping program such as ZipIt or StuffIt Expander. Registration fee is $10.00. This program *cannot* be used with CCN, however. It is included here because it may be of use to those who frequent local BBS's.
