Hi Beth. There is a telephone line problem of some sort. You can
go to http://plus.chebucto.ns.ca and click on the link that says Your Plus
Usage when you are online on Chebucto Plus to see the chart yourself.

All your connections end with a dropped carrier or
remote end hung up. Your connection speeds are very good but there must be
something not right, either line noise or a loose connection of some sort
or a badly wired phone jack that is disrupting the connection.

Unfortunately all we can offer is for you to bring your computer
into our office where our phone lines are a known quantity and we can see
if we can rule out your computer hardware and software as causes of the
connection disruptions.

At your place you can try replacing the phone cable running from
the computer to the wall jack with a new one and try hooking the computer
up to a different wall jack and see if that makes a difference. If your
computer's connection to the wall jack is long or goes through other
devices try connecting it directly to the wall jack with a short phone
cable.

I have been having problems sending multi page email attachments and end up having to send them individually. Also, can't get my new messages via outlook express and get error message saying "connection to server has failed or unavailable". Not sure if this has anything to do with you or my phone service. Would you let me know. Thanks.
