NSPIRG Board of Directors: Nominations and Elections!!!!!!

WHAT IS THE NSPIRG BOARD?
the board meets every two weeks to work on a consensus basis to make
decisions about nspirg funding, projects, working groups and general nspirg
operation and direction. the nine member board is composed of eight student
positions (i.e. full-time Dalhousie students) and one community member
position

a board member has a term of one year (with a maximum of three years
possible) running from april to the end of march.

ELIGIBILTY:
you must be a returning Dalhousie student or community member


NOMINATIONS
nomination period is march 10- march 23rd (4:00 pm). to run for a position
all you need is
1. the nomination form (available in the nspirg office)
2. to get 25 signatures (of full-time Dalhousie students) on the nomination
form (due by March 23, 4:00pm)
3. to write a 50 word blurb about why you are running for the nspirg board
and a little image to accompany it (due by March 23, 4:00 pm---this is for
the nspirg board piece in the next week's edition of the gazette)


ELECTIONS
board members are elected by the membership of nspirg (all full-time
dalhousie students and nspirg community members may vote). voting will take
place March 30 and 31st time and place t.b.a


being a part of the nspirg is a lot of fun and an excellent experience to
do something for/in your community and the world.....sound like the thing
