Hi there, as you may already know from listening to the news, a "tent city" has been set up across the street from Russell MacLellan's house in Sydney to protest government's inadequate actions in protecting the health of those people who live across from the coke oven site. They are asking for your support. You can do this three ways: 1. mail them a letter of support - address it to Tent City (the post office has agreed to deliver mail to that address), Sydney NS 2. Call them with your support. cell phone number: 902-565-6722 3. If you have some time to camp out with them, just show up and be a part of it all. If the numbers of people camped out there grew, this would undoubtedly make it impossible for Russell MacLellan, or anyone else for that matter, to ignore them. and finally: (my addition) - make it an election issue - ask all the parties what they plan to do to help those who are living beside this toxic stew - it's time human health becomes an election priority.
