Hi. We have had requests to CAP for information on Pesticides. (CAP provides free information searches on issues that link health and the environment for community groups) In response to these requests, Michelle Vigenat, a intern with CAP, has put together a comprehensive pesticides list of: books, web sites, key words for searching, videos, list-serves, journals, Human Health Impacts information, alternatives to pesticides and herbicides, chemical names,etc. If you would like a copy I can e-mail it. Please specify word, word perfect, or rich text. If you do request a copy we would like to know - * if you think there is to much information - if so, what could be cut * other books, websites etc that are not listed that would be valuable to put in * is this a valuable tool for your group? - if so why? * what books or videos do you think the CAP lending library should purchase to loan to groups * ideas for speakers on the pesticide issue * other comments - recommendations *A version for French resources on the issue will be developed as well.
