I just found out i am a somehow a member of this list, and would like to know just what it is all about! Are terrestrial and fresh-water topics permitted? How many folks are involved? Who is the list "caretaker"? How many messages per week are "typical", and just why was the list created in the first place - what is it's "raison d'etre" and Zeitgiest?
