Billie-Jean asked about sewage sludge and alternatives.

A few years ago, we published an article about the Bear River system. It
can be found at http://www.life.ca/nl/50/livingsystem.html.

We've also done a number of stories on the dangers of sewage sludge, the
most recent one in our current issue. They can be found on our
environmental Subject Index at http://www.life.ca/subject/environment.html.

Hope this helps.

Hi There are alot of articles on sewage sludge on agricultural lands in
public health journals, and other journals such as Bio-cycle
http://www.jgpress.com/ which has numerous articles on this issues. As far
as the living machine - another name would be solar aquatics - There is a
system in Bedford and Bear River NS.
