Every year the Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group puts out a magazine called In Perspective - focussing on one issue and featuring art, articles, drawings, photos etc. In Perspectives in the past have been on Animal Rights, Women's Health, Homelessness, The G-7... Themes should be in keeping with what we attempt to do at nspirg : do research on environmental, economic and social justice issues, encourage dialogue and inform. We are putting out a call to anyone who may be interested in having the opportunity to put a magazine together, from beginning to end, from the call for submissions to picking them up at the printers and all the fun stuff in between. If you're interested and know some others who may also be interested in helping you, contact us. You'll have to fill out a project proposal form and present your idea to our board of directors, but it may the start of a very exciting and worthwhile endeavour.
