Here's another subversive way to help the environment ... by REUSING books
and other household items. The Unitarian Church is accepting donations,
and will be reselling them at its yardsale on Saturday, 23 Sept.

The Universalist Unitarian Church of Halifax is located at 5500 Inglis St.

Hi Everybody!
The annual UU Church Fundraising Yardsale is coming up:
Saturday September 23, 8:30am-12:30... 50 cents donation at gate.
The highlight of this year's yardsale will be the Booksale. With an
abundance of fascinating (both popular and obscure) titles and attractive
prices we're bound to see an influx of folks who love books. We've received
many other fascinating items over the summer and would like to remind folks
that if you have books, housewares, plants, collectibles, costume jewelry,
furniture, etc.. that you would like to donate to the yardsale, you can
bring your items by this Sunday (September 17) at 10:30 or 12:30 (take down
to room at bottom of stair in basement or place on counter by back door)...
or bring them to the pricing nights... Wednesday, Sept. 20, Thursday the
21st and Friday the 22nd between 7-9pm. (I am planning to be there at 6:30).
Any questions or offers of help?: please call Mary at 422-2475.
