** High Priority ** Urgent Message: This Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7pm in the Halifax Grammar School on Tower Road (opposite St. Marys in the former Tower Road School building), there will be an open house to present and discuss the early stages of a Halifax Peninsula Greenway project. This project is community-driven and has support from the local councillors and HRM staff. The focus will be on the lands abutting the railway cut for use as a greenway with a regional trail link. Abutting landowners have been invited, some of whom have serious concerns about the project. The trail would become part of the regional trails system and ultimately be linked to the Trans-Canada Trail system.
