Hey, everyone, The message below is for a great annual event put on by Dalhousie's Security Department. Every year they take the lost & found items that remain unclaimed after a certain period of time and auction them off. Proceeds go to Dal's scholarship and bursary programme. There are lots of great things to check out: clothing, empty wallets, bags, calculators, small jewelry items, watches, lots of mitts and hats, and yes, even bikes! Last year, I got a great calculator and a pencil case, although what I really was eyeing were some of the bikes they had... Anyway, this is a great way for Dal's security department to get rid of piles of unclaimed items and a great way for people like us to get some really useful things -- secondhand, cheap, and great! Lilli --------------------------------------------------------------------- Members of the community are invited to our UNCLAIMED FOUND PROPERTY AUCTION, scheduled to commence at 11:45 am, on Wednesday, March 21, at the Green Room, Student Union Building (6136 University Avenue), Studley Campus (The Green Room will be open at 11:00 am, March 21, for viewing of the articles to be auctioned).
