Yet another frequently asked QUESTION:

This is pissing me off, Paul! I sent the message to the right place. I
read the info file (posting guidelines). My message was perfect. I even
checked the archives. It isn't there. Why won't you post it? $#!&?

ANSWER:

Number-one reason why perfect messages vanish into thin air:

[drum-roll]

Because they contain html coding, i.e. MIME.

Solution: Make sure your message is in plain text ONLY. No pretty colours.
No fancy fonts.

Make sure html is completely turned off (even if it looks like just
regular text).

Make sure your system isn't attaching a html "business card."

Finally, make sure that your message was not copied to other recipients.
[Send it wherever and to whomever you want, just not in the same message
that goes to sust-mar].

Thanks!
~paul :)

PS Techology is changing. Maybe it is time to remove the restriction on
html. This means that sust-mar will consume more bandwidth, and that not
all messages will be legible to all subscribers.

If you think sust-mar should start ALLOWING html messages ... or if you
think it shouldn't ... please let me know. We aim to please!
