SOLAR POWER WORKSHOP

Falls Brook Centre

June 8th and 9th

Learn to solar electrify your home
Build and take home your own solar battery charger

Practical hands-on installation combined with the history and future of
solar power.



Learn about Falls Brook Centre's project in Nicaragua assisting people with
landmine injuries to become solar energy technicians.

The instructor, Dr. Richard Komp, is the President of Sunwatt Solar Systems
and author of the book Practical Photovoltaics.  He has been working with
solar energy since 1960.

At Falls Brook Centre
Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9
9 am  to  4:30 pm

Come for just one day or come for the whole weekend!


Cost: 25$ for one day, $30 for the weekend.  These prices include a home
cooked lunch.  There is an additional cost of 25$ if you want to take home
your own solar power battery charger.

DANGEROUS MUNITIONS OFF N.S. COAST 
A new report says there are at least 70 sunken vessels and ocean dumps on
the East Coast that are loaded with unexploded munitions.  The report was
commissioned by the Department of National Defence.
