Howdy all-- As part of this year's Halifax Gay Pride celebrations, there will be a parade of bicycles -- a sort of Queer Critical Mass -- in the Pride Parade on Saturday, July 19th. You don't have to be a dyke, you just need a byke (or tryke) All (women, men, children, queer and straight) are welcome to join. Meet at the Maitland Street gathering point (behind the Marquee) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Usually there is a lot of milling about before the parade gets underway, so if you show up at 1:30, you'll be fine. Got streamers, balloons, ribbons, or other festive gear? Decorate yer two-wheeled friend. Ride yer bicycle. Toot yer horn. Have fun.
