One of the ways the Bay of Islands Sustainable Economic Development Centre
raises funds is by hosting events on its 50 acre facility in Moser River,
Nova Scotia.

A second year event for the Centre, Ironbound 24 Hour Adventure Race returns
on October 4 and 5 and has an immediate need for a Race Co-ordinator.

Ideally, the Race Co-ordinator should be familiar with the backcountry and
waterways of the Liscomb to Quoddy area, GPS, wilderness safety, etc.

Volunteers are needed for team checkpoints for the October 1st weekend, as
well as motor boat back up safety, awards banquet help, etc. A free
tee-shirt and an outdoor adventure you'll always remember is your reward!

Feeling really adventurous? It's not too late to sign up your team of 2 or 4
and compete. Don't forget when you're out there in the wilds of Nova Scotia,
leave the smallest footprint you can for future generations.

If you'd like to help, please email me or call: Gail at 902-347-2602 or Ron
at 902-456-3238.

Gail
