PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Geoff Wright, Project Manager for the new HRM Bus Rapid Transit System
will be guest speaker at the ANNUAL MEETING of Public Interest Group
TRANSPORT 2000 ATLANTIC, Saturday afternoon, April 24th.

There will be two express bus routes from Sackville and from Cole
Harbour to downtown using priority traffic signals and new queue-jump
lanes. 8 luxury coaches are expected to be in operation on these routes
by the end of 2004.

Everyone is welcome to come to see and hear details of this important
project of Metro Transit. A question period will follow.

The meeting will take place at 2 pm Saturday, April 24, in the Maritime
Museum of the Atlantic 1675 Lower Water Street (near Duke) in downtown
Halifax, with easy access by transit bus and ferry.
