This is really too much. On behalf of the "Green Party of Canada - NS
Section", Halifax candidate Michael Marshall sends Sust-Mar a note
dripping with invective and sarcasm against the New Democrats and the next
day Sharon Labchuk decries the "attack campaign the NDP is waging on the
Greens"?!

Has Dr. Labchuk looked at the official website of the Green Party of
Canada, which describes a reasoned exposition by Murray Dobbin--one of
Canada's most respected independent journalists--as "propaganda", even
though the party's purported rebuttal is unable to show a single factual
error in Dobbin's article? Has she noted the coda to this "rebuttal",
which acidly expresses the hope that "Dobbin's next book will not be a
guide to ethical journalism"?

In a similar vein, Craig Hubley, founding Constituency Association
President of the Toronto-Danforth Greens, wrote of "the trash journalism
approach of Murray Dobbin and Joan Russow."

Eralier this week a friend and I had a conversation with one of the GPC's
candidates in HRM and were assured by this individual that Dobbin (who has
never been a member of the NDP) had written his _Globe & Mail_ piece on
the Greens on orders from the NDP. He went on to tell us that the Sierra
Club, Greenpeace and especially the Council of Canadians were NDP puppets.

In postings advertising the intended protest of the exclusion of the GPC
from the national leaders debate another GPC candidate openly attacked the
NDP--for being anti-GPC.

These are by no means all the examples I could edduce. This paranoid
persecution complex--which sees GPC candidates habitually lashing out at
the NDP while all the time claiming the opposite is happening--has to end;
and hopefully before election day.
