While most people are rightfully concerned about lawn poisoning in their
communities, their own government, the Province of New Brunswick,
is organizing massive aerial Crown forests herbiciding upstreams.
The poisoning of some 13 000 hectares is scheduled to start mid-August.
Besides known health consequences and high risks, naturally regenerating
hardwood forests are systematically and repeatedly burnt with deadly herbicides.
For the past four years our Coalition has been imploring Premier Lord to end
this reckless practice.
He and the careless forest industry fail to recognize modern forestry practices
respectful of the health of their citizens and the environment.
The issue is too important to give up. Your solidarity is vital.
Send a fax to Premier Lord through free services offered by the
New Brunswick Environmental Network.

Please forward to other concerned people and local papers.
