Sustainable Living Fair at Bay of Islands Centre - July 29 to August 1st
(Stone Soup Festival)

Do you have an environmental message to get out? Are you creating art,
music, wildcrafts or products using recycled or local raw materials? If you
have a display or information of interest to sustainable rural development,
we invite you to join us.

The 4th Annual Stone Soup Festival's Sustainable Living Fair has a few
display spaces still available beside the Trail Stop on Highway 7. This is a
high traffic area that includes a chainsaw carving contest & the Moser River
Day Parade on the same weekend. Saturday will be the busiest and offer
maximum exposure. Suggested donations for displays can be found at
www.bay-of-islands.org/festival/

Alternately, camping is pre-booked at $35 for the entire weekend and
includes the right to set up a preapproved display at your camping spot in
the fields & woodlands of the Bay of Islands Center, 1.5 hours from
Dartmouth on Highway #7.

This year's outdoor music festival is themed "Enviro Jam '05" and has been
co-ordinated by the newly formed "Musicians for the Environment". Special
performances this year includes "Zuppa Circus Open Theatre Kitchen
Travelling Show -
a feast of the senses; a meal of the mind; theatre with a difference", our
Stone Soup "roving reporter" sketch artist Richard Rudnicki and many other
surprise guests, storytellers, buskers, fisher poets & more.

For Weekend Passes, Day Passes or to arrange a display or vendor space,
please contact Gail Martin at 347-2602 or email gail@bay-of-islands.org
Proceeds this year towards a renewable energy display at the Center.

See you at Stone Soup!
