The Social Register of Canada: Cumberland County Entries

In 1958, the Social Register of Canada Association published the first edition[1] of The Social Register of Canada. This volume lists “Canadians who, either as individuals or as members of worthy families, have contributed markedly to the social development of their nation” [Preface]. The nominees for inclusion were all invited to provide biographical information, though not all of them chose to do so.

Notes:

In this excerpt, I have not listed the individual’s awards and honours, academic degrees, clubs, or professional affiliations. Children listed include only those (both minor and adult) currently living at home.
