This house was built ca. 1890.

This house was built in 1856.

Heritage Buildings

Old Provincial Normal College

This building was constructed in 1878, and it ceased to be used for teacher education in 1961. It was designed by Halifax architect Henry Frederick Busch. It is a textbook example of Second Empire style architecture. Since 2016, it has housed the Truro branch of the Public library.

Town Hall

This building was constructed in 1884 to house the Post Office and other Dominion Government functions.

Truro Armouries

Willow Lofts

Built in 1915 as the Willow Street School, this buildig now houses various commercial offices.

Miscellaneous

Stonehouse

Acadian Lines Bus Station, Truro, Nova Scotia

Almost all of the Acadian Line's facilities have adopted the new logo and colour-scheme, but the station at Truro still retains the old logo (as of May 2010).
