This building was constructed 1947 as the Elmdale Theatre.

This building has a very personal significance for me -- I stayed here during my very first visit to Ottawa in Spring 1997.

Miscellaneous Buildings

Alliance Building

This building houses the Public Service Alliance of Canada.

Bank of Canada

This building opened in 1938.

Canadian Museum of Nature

This building was constructed between 1905 and 1911 as the Victoria Memorial Museum. It is Canada's first building designed specifically for national museum collections and research.

Supreme Court of Canada

This building was designed by Montreal architect Ernest Cormier in the 1930s.

Unidentified Building #1

I love the shape of the roofline and the arched front entrance.

Rideau Canal

The Canal was completed in 1832 under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel John By.
