As discussed elsewhere , the Province of Nova Scotia began the civil registration of marriages in 1864. There are seperate indicies for each county and they are somewhat difficult to use as they are partially organised by year.

I have extracted all of the index entries for WEBB for Colchester and Cumberland counties. Records after 1914 for Colchester county and after 1913 for Cumberland county are not yet available to the public.

The registers themselves have been microfilmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah and are consequently available through its Family History Centers. Copies are also held by PANS and the Colchester County museum -- among other institutions.
