The web cam is up and running again! (Well sort of! Weekends only for a few hours.)

Many thanks to all those who participated in this online station and FTP site!

All the music on the Virtual MP3 Studio Shoutcast Station was from a variety of musical styles, no one style was preferred.  Every MP3 played on the site was from independent sources!  I do plan to start it up again in the future but for now I have all the music safely stored on CD.

This site was for unsigned, independent artists looking to do some collaboration on musical projects in their spare time.  Musicians from all over the world were invited to share in this unique opportunity!  This was a FREE service!

I would like to thank all those who were participating in this online MP3 studio.  There are some interesting and talented people out there!  The unsigned musician has an axis of freedom pretty much unheard of in the record company studios these days.  The online MP3 studios will ensure the basic tenets of musical expression, creativity, without politics, without contract are alive and well in the new millennium!

My Roland Vdrum kit in various stages:

I have been playing the drums for just over 20 years.  I went with the Roland VKit to make recording easier and to avoid the usual difficulties inherent to owning acoustic drums.  Now when I play acoustic drums I find them incredibly loud but I still prefer them for some situations!  Although this equipment is quite remarkable I still do not think it is a complete and final substitute for acoustic drums!  The Roland Vkit is amazing in its overall sound and flexibility with over 500 sounds and 50 backing instruments.  A full compliment of software based effects can keep both the amateur and professional very busy in their studio.
