Founded in 1905 and incorporated by an Act of the Government of Nova Scotia in 1909, in 2012 the Halifax Ladies' Musical Club added "Nova Scotia Society for Encouraging Young Musicians" to its name, in order to reflect its current role.
The year 2012 also saw the launch of our new website, hosted by local provider Chebucto Community Net.
