I had two new yard birds today with a brown creeper and four blackpoll warb=
lers.

Yesterday my friend Steven Hiltz had a pied-billed grebe at Back Centre. T=
hat bird was still present today.

I saw a flock of about 1 000 European starlings at Corkum's Island today. =
They went up all in one group and one either hit a power pole or the wires =
and plummeted from the sky. I watched it twitch for awhile and after some =
time it eventually righted itself and walked around a bit before taking to =
the air again. =20

David Walmark and I had a yellow-billed cuckoo=2C which flew up from where =
the Little Blue Heron had been in the spring at Oakland. The bird flew acr=
oss the road in front of the car as we were driving by.
