I visited my favourite location for Blackburnian and Bay-breasted Warblers this morning, the Old Annapolis Road Hiking Trail system. I didn't even have to leave the parking area since the birds were all around me. I had to cut short my visit when the head fell off my Manfrotto tripod. So much for the myth of Manfrotto quality! Fortunately I spotted the failure happening before my lens and camera visited the hard side of a rock. I'll revisit this location tomorrow with my repaired tripod......, properly repaired by me. I also heard my first Alder Flycatcher of the season.
