Hello All,

My sister just phoned me and sent photos of young House Sparrows on her deck. She said that there is one with a feather (of maybe a pigeon?) in its beak chasing the other ones around on the deck and the photos seem to show that also. I thought, how peculiar. But, since they are young and that many young animals like to 'play', that perhaps young birds like to as well? Anyone have some ideas about this behavior with the feather?

Thank you,
