If one raccoon found it to be a great nest spot location...another one will often fill the nest box if you remove the first one. I see this all the time when people get a nuisance wildlife control person to remove a raccoon..but haven't dealt with the reason the raccoon is there in the first place ( food availability, nest spot,etc)....another one just fills the spot.
