At dusk I got to Wolfville's Robie Tufts Nature Centre at 8:09 p.m., just in time to see a single chimney swift drop into the chimney! (oops! so perhaps a few were missed earlier?). After that the total of 55 swift entries into the chimney were mostly very gradual, over a long period, except for a brief flurry of about 16 swifts at 8:33 to 8:35 p.m. Sunset was at 8:44. Sky totally overcast, cool, 11 C., with a moderate breeze. Entries seen were stretched out from the 8:09 arrival to 9:05 p.m., and I departed at 9:10, when it was very difficult to see.
