Hi there .
I am one of the guys who reported the eider duck with the worn out numbers on the band.
Susanne Myers gave me your contact email.
I not sure if you are interested in my observation from today but I think it is a significant find.
I observed 36 Harlequin ducks today on the eastern shore of the Louisbourg Light house trail.
I was about 15 feet above their heads when they all come up from a dive.
They got wind of me and battered away from me.
I watch them fly to the east of me for about 1 km or so.
Not sure if this info is important or not but It sure is very rare for this area??
All the best.

Ian Harte
