All,

A co-worker of mine, who's university attending son, is working with the Nature Conservatory here in the province, told me of an extraordinary encounter, her son had recently, while out with biologists in the Weymouth area.
They were going through some very thick underbrush in the area, when they came upon a rocky area.
My friend's son jumped down off one of these large rocks and landed right on top of a resting bear!
Apparently it roared, and took off, through the underbrush!!
Lucky kid, is what I said to my co-worker!! Her son said, everyone was totally freaked out, but they all recognized that they were in areas where bears travel, so they would be very careful!
