We've gotten lots, like 15-20 calls, about snapping turtles laying eggs
right at the roadside in the past 2 weeks, from all over ns. If she chose
that spot, I'm inclined to leave them be. One gentleman actually stayed til
she was finished burying them...ready to help her if she ventured onto the
rd, but she didn't.

That being said ,I'm currently waiting for what sounds like a DOA wood
turtle from a vehicle collision :(.
Lots of turtle calls this year.
