I was just on a tour of the Antigonish Landing last week, where a grad
student from the Ag Campus of Dal showed us the horrible patches of
Japanese Knotweed. Cascading over some of it and other local vegetation was
wild cucumber, which he said was native. I think I've heard the same
before...I'm not within arm's reach of Zinck (the book, not the person), or
I'd check.
