Today, while fishing on Big Mush-a-Mush Lake (inland Lun Co), we noticed fine threads being carried on the breeze. They stood out when the sunlight caught them against a dark backdrop of shaded conifer-dense shoreline. Otherwise I am sure we would not have noticed them. I am guessing they were ~15-30cm.

The only thing that I could think of was young spiders dispersing on strands of silk. Any other ideas?

Nancy
