Was out in the yard this morning putting my kayak, and lawn furniture away for the winter :-( when an adult Eagle dove after a black duck in the lake maybe 20 feet from my wharf. It dove twice and didn't get it unfortunately...eagles have to eat too! 2 ducks were loitering around while I worked, looking for handouts, and almost became breakfast! cheers, Gary Murray Tucker Lake Beaverbank NS
