The fireflies have also started to appear: https://www.flickr.com/photos/92981528@N08/13879228503/ If I have my facts straight fireflies overwinter as larvae and the adults emerge in Spring. They must respond quickly to a little bit of warmth in order to pupate and emerge as adults this early. ID corrections welcome. Nancy
