Hi Gary,

Black Sunflower seed - Black Oil Sunflower seed - same thing.

We've had similar problems with Niger.  Think it may be old when the 
finches won't eat it.  Don't use it anymore, as hulled Sunflower seed 
works for all the birds, is available, though expensive, at Valleyfield 
Farm on Sackville Dr., and we think it is actually cheaper than Bl. 
Sunflower seed because there is so much less waste.
