Thanks for the feedback regarding the nest boxes.
I will do a retrofit to the entrances within a few days.
Such an interesting solution. Can't wait to see the results!

Something else I have learned about Tree Swallow nest boxes is that many
designs include floor space that is in reality too small for a brood of
developing birds. Issues can include feather damage, overheating,and even
death to nestlings due to overcrowding   Floor size for a Tree Swallow nest
box should be no smaller than 5" x 5".
