Sand Barrens are one of the most rapidly changing, disappearing and endange=

 The Kingston Sand Barrens are home to a number of the Province=E2=80=99s p=
lant and animal Species at Risk including Rockrose (Helianthumum canadense;=
=C2=A0Endangered in NS), Wood Turtle (Threatened in NS), and Vesper Sparrow=
 (rare in NS). Ruth Newell will take us on a
 tour of this incredible and sensitive ecosystem. Meet at the Wolfville=C2=
=A0waterfront at 9:00 a.m.
