It was nice to see swallow fledglings out and about at the Toney River
wharf today. There were both Bank and Barn Swallow fledglings hanging out
together. I do expect to see Cliff Swallow fledglings with them eventually
as these 3 species nest in close proximity to one another.

Other birds of note today was seeing my first Ruddy Turnstone of the year
at the end of Caribou Island and seeing five White-winged Scoters just
offshore by the reef. There were also five young Common Terns in this same
area being fed by their parents.
