I think most were tree Swallows. Not = a good number but some. WE drove down the river from the second bridge = and sadly didn=E2=80=99t see any. Maybe just a lull? Hi All=20 Yesterday we went to Scots Bay for lunch.=20 And a good lunch it was!=20 As we sat out the number of Swallows was impressive.=20 I couldn't be sure of the species exactly but it was like=20 when I was young to see them feeding over the fields. Some=20 I presume parents were feeding others - young? on the fly.=20 We don't see many on the Atlantic shore - but we don't miss the = mosquitos!=20 After lunch we went down and the old wharf was just coming out of the = water.=20 An impressive structure - I don't know how old but likely built by horse = power.=20 Perhaps there will be a picture of it somewhere.
