   Them and swallows&#160; were always around the cattle. The swallows

   went to a warm spot in the winter, the sparrows went in the barn

   with the cattle&#160; to stay alive in the cold days, Most farmers liked

   them in the winter - not so much in the summers when they took over swallow nests.

   Not many of the Ivory Tower birders around small farms either so

   they probably missed that!
  </div>

    <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: &#39;Calibri&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;">We had a House Sparrow feeding 3 fledged young yesterday.&#160; She would fly to the black-oil sunflower feeder and then back to feed them.&#160; She must have been cracking the seeds for them.<br/><br/>A Ruby-throated Hummingbird chased a Black-capped Chickadee around.&#160; They weren&#39;t near the hummingbird feeder so I don&#39;t know what that was about.<br/><br/>Don</span></p>
